Summary

Join our team as a Senior Account Executive and contribute to the growth of our business through the expansion of our Bev Alc client base. You'll own all aspects of the sales process, including prospecting and outreach, pitching to prospective clients, answering any client questions, working with our media planners to create strategic media plans, and re-signing deals with Chicory.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in digital/online media sales experience, working directly within the Bev Alc category
  • Must have an established network of Alc Bev marketers
  • Ability to ideate and execute a detailed sales strategy (setting targets for emails, cold calls, leads generated, etc.)
  • Experience working in a team environment with shared revenue goals and partner selling and demonstrated success in delivering results
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time to engage with clients and other events
  • Demonstrated success in prospecting, owning a territory, forecasting, and delivering against sales goals in the CPG or shopper marketing space
  • Experience articulating sales measurement results with customers and handling questions on campaign performance
  • Experience with and ability to navigate different marketing objectives and measurement solutions
  • Adaptable mindset, recognizing the dynamic nature of the business and the need for reprioritization as needed
  • Ability to understand complex technologies and convey it in an easy-to-understand manner
  • Experience negotiating, structuring, and closing complex, six-figure insertion orders
  • Impeccable organizational skills and extremely detail-oriented
  • Proficient in creating and presenting Powerpoint decks

Responsibilities

  • Generate revenue growth by managing relationships with Tier 1 & Tier 2 Bev Alc customers
  • Work with internal teams to refine the selling story and solution set for customers
  • Proactively identify decision makers within the territory, deliver Chicory solutions story, and consistently achieve or surpass quarterly meeting and revenue targets
  • Create impactful and trusting relationships with marketing leads, media agencies, and CPG clients on your dedicated account list
  • Ability to create and execute a detailed sales strategy, including prioritizing an account list, setting email outreach goals, conducting cold calls, and generating leads
  • Manage own workflow, meet deadlines, and produce accurate forecasts
  • Understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions to drive successful partnerships
  • Understand sales measurement and clearly and effectively articulate campaign measurement set up and results to customers
  • Track and negotiate contract renewal terms with a customer-centric approach
  • Collaborate with other departments including Marketing, Account Management, Campaign Management, Strategic Partnerships, and Product to drive client satisfaction, growth, and long-term partnerships
  • Stay updated on Chicory's current and upcoming products to ensure clear communication and alignment with our clients’ evolving needs
  • Share ideas and client needs with Product, Engineering and Strategic Partnerships teams to help shape our product roadmap and meet evolving client needs
  • Stay informed on industry trends and the impact to customers within territory
  • Build upon team and company culture and act as a champion of the Chicory Principles
