Summary

Join Fivetran's Sales team as a Commercial Account Executive to support our Japanese market. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, self-motivated, and has a positive attitude with a passion for building customer relationships and closing new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Self-directed: Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Strong sense of urgency: Demonstrates a commitment to timely completion of tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Exceptional organizational skills: Effective time management, prioritization, and planning abilities
  • Intellectual curiosity: A desire to learn and stay updated on industry trends and technologies
  • Proven track record of success in sales and business development: Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and build strong customer relationships
  • Collaborative: Demonstrated commitment to working well with team mates across functional, geographic, and hierarchical boundaries
  • Technical Acumen: Capability to understand key concepts of databases, data warehouses, and information architecture
  • Experience selling into the Japanese market

Responsibilities

  • Help to establish Fivetran as the premier Data Movement platform in Japan
  • Drive consistent activity, pipeline development and quota achievement
  • Work with new customers to drive adoption and help them realize value as quickly as possible
  • Collaborate with channel partners and develop superior solutions that exceed customer expectations
  • Determine customer requirements and present appropriate solutions
  • Effectively communicate through excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills in both English and Japanese
