Summary
Join Zirous, a thriving tech firm, as an Account Executive to drive new business by selling Zendesk service delivery implementation services. This role demands strong SaaS software understanding, sales acumen, and the ability to showcase the value of professional services in optimizing customer and employee experience platforms. You will identify and close new business opportunities, develop sales pipelines, collaborate with Zendesk Partner teams, and work with internal teams to create tailored solutions. Negotiating contracts and building client relationships are key, as is staying updated on industry trends. You will achieve sales targets, maintain accurate sales records, and work in a hybrid work model with flexibility.
Requirements
- 1 - 3 years of lead generation and cold calling sales experience is required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)
- Ability to travel overnight as needed
Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities for Zendesk implementation services
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive outreach, networking, and lead generation
- Work alongside Zendesk Partner teams, including Account Managers and Channel Representatives, to deliver impactful presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients, highlighting how the Zendesk solution and our services can solve their unique business challenges
- Work directly with the VP of Sales, VP of Strategic Alliances, and VP of Cloud & Service to develop tailored solutions and proposals
- Collaborate with the internal marketing, resource management, and technical teams
- Negotiate contracts and terms, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organizations
- Stay up-to-date with Zendesk platform updates, industry trends, and competitive offerings including asset management platforms such as Oomnitza
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions within the CRM platform Salesforce
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven track record of success in B2B software or services sales, with a focus on cloud platforms is a plus
- Previous experience using sales prospecting tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo
- Understanding of the customer experience platforms such as Zendesk, ServiceNow, or Freshdesk and their various functionalities is highly preferred
- Experience selling professional services, particularly implementation, integration, or consulting services, is a significant plus
