Summary

Join Nucleus Global as an Account Manager and contribute to the success of medical affairs accounts. This role involves scientific and strategic consultation, managing professional relationships with leading academics, and developing medical affairs projects. You will leverage project management skills and scientific expertise to lead a team, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Responsibilities include overseeing projects, deadlines, budgets, and team assignments, as well as supporting client business development and new business acquisition. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree in life sciences (advanced degree preferred), 3+ years of experience in medical communications or advertising agencies, and strong project management and financial budgeting skills. Excellent client relations and communication skills are essential.

Requirements

  • To succeed, you must have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in life sciences (advanced degree, preferred)
  • 3+ years experience working in a medical communications agency or ad agency working on medical affairs projects is required
  • You will also need to demonstrate solid project management skills including financial budgeting skills
  • A strong ability to work well within a team along with exceptional client relations and communication skills is a must

Responsibilities

  • As an Account Manager, your role will be varied and could include scientific and strategic consultation and management of professional relations with leading academics and development of a range of medical affairs projects
  • Using your strong project management skills and scientific expertise, you will help lead a team to deliver a range of services to clients
  • You will work within assigned account(s) to manage and ensure that all projects and services are delivered based on the clients business needs including overseeing all projects, deadlines, budgets, and team assignments
  • Support existing client business development as well as potential new business to achieve agreed-upon financial targets

Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge or previous experience utilizing Veeva, a plus
