Summary

Join Regrow, a climate tech company revolutionizing agriculture, and manage key customer accounts. You will advise clients on regenerative agriculture and sustainability, develop long-term account strategies, and lead renewal and expansion opportunities. This role involves collaborating with senior executives, creating strategic account plans, and advising on topics like GHG accounting and soil carbon modeling. You will also communicate product value, provide training and demos, and lead an internal account team. The position requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and experience in account management or a related field. Success in this role will contribute to Regrow's mission of reducing global emissions in agriculture.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years in account management, enterprise sales, consulting, or similar customer-facing and quota-carrying experience, preferably in Enterprise SaaS
  • Experience and passion in agriculture, carbon, sustainability, climate tech or transferrable sustainability spaces to show up as an informed advisor with our customers (or, a desire to learn more about this space and a history of successfully ramping quickly in a new industry)
  • Excellent executive communication skills (verbal and written) and experience working and communicating in a global environment
  • Experience building, pricing, negotiating, and closing complex relationships and deals, and proven success in mutual growth of partnership ROI
  • Proven results as a strong leader and coach for team members
  • Excellent problem-solver who can successfully operate in an ambiguous environment
  • Action-oriented team player with a willingness to jump in and solve problems for both our customers and our organization as we try to scale our start-up into a world-class company
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment; ability to wear multiple hats and be agile

Responsibilities

  • Manage the company’s existing key customer accounts, with an emphasis on advising customers on their regenerative agriculture & sustainability approach, developing long-term account strategy, relationship management/executive communications, and leading renewal and expansion opportunities
  • Actively engage and partner with senior executives (VP & C-level) and decision makers to nurture the relationship with key customer accounts; network into new teams/business units to strengthen our relationships
  • Develop strategic account plans (including growth/renewal, risk mitigation, customer stakeholder mapping, etc.) to delight customers, secure renewals and drive growth, in partnership with an Account Executive (Sales)
  • Advise customer teams on topics related to regenerative agriculture, GHG accounting/reporting/claiming, soil carbon modeling and remote sensing, pulling in and collaborating with Regrow subject matter experts where appropriate
  • Communicate the value of our SaaS products to customers via product trainings and demos; bring critical market insights back to the organization to support innovation and product development
  • Lead and eventually manage an internal account team (including 1 Program Manager and 1 Product Support Specialist) to deliver against the strategy you have set for your accounts
  • Monitor, track, and report (internally and externally with the customer) against key customer program objectives/deliverables in collaboration with account team
  • Prepare for strategic meetings with the customer team and executive stakeholders (e.g., annual and quarterly business reviews, contract negotiations)
  • Attend relevant events and customer meetings (e.g., industry conferences, annual business reviews) in person
  • Use our CRM to document all accounts, customers, and opportunities to inform pipeline forecasts
