Requirements

  • You have a minimum 4-6 year’s experience serving in an account management role at a digital agency, successfully managing client accounts and delivering digital marketing services
  • You have the ability to lead accounts / account teams, build strong rapport with clients, understand clients’ businesses at both strategic and tactical levels, and deliver high quality, detail-oriented work
  • You can lead cross-capability teams to deliver creative thinking and powerful ideas that meet client objectives, and you ensure work is client-ready by paying attention to both macro client needs and the details. You drive account decisions (as opposed to taking orders) in a way that yields sustained, measurable results
  • You display confidence and powerful presentation skills that invite participation and effect desired outcomes
  • You are familiar with marketing and analytics software such as CMS platforms, social and media monitoring tools, HubSpot/Marketo/Pardot/etc., Jira/Kantata (or other project management software), Google, Canva/InDesign/etc., Mac OS

Responsibilities

  • Onboard new accounts and ensure they consistently remain on track to meet goals, in collaboration with our delivery departments and leadership
  • Lead day-to-day account management, serving as a trusted advisor by demonstrating business, industry and performance knowledge, and ensuring deliverables are high quality and meet client standards
  • Deliver excellent client service and communications, ensuring client needs are consistently being met. Work closely with clients to understand their business, challenges and needs - asking thoughtful questions - and articulate them effectively to account teams
  • Identify opportunities for growth, foster innovative thinking across the team and deliver solutions-oriented ideas both within and outside client scopes that surprise and delight clients
  • Lead client strategy meetings and account business reviews in collaboration with leadership to continuously drive accounts forward
  • Manage account budgeting, revenue tracking and profitability
  • Anticipate potential conflicts or resource variables that could affect client relationship or project delivery and offer up timely solutions for avoiding roadblocks
  • Serve as the voice of the client internally and the voice of the agency externally, bringing insights into creative strategy and marketing program development
