Requirements

  • Proven experience in accounting, ideally with a focus on securities accounting or general accounting
  • Strong knowledge of capital adequacy ratio calculations and financial regulations
  • Ability to prepare and manage financial reports
  • Familiarity with payment operations, including invoicing and employee reimbursements
  • Experience in general affairs or office management, including handling mail and equipment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members in Japan and globally
  • Solid numerical and logical thinking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software
  • Fluency in Japanese and English
  • Business-level proficiency in Japanese and English

Responsibilities

  • Handle securities-related accounting tasks or general accounting responsibilities
  • Calculate and verify the capital adequacy ratio
  • Perform monthly accounting processes, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately
  • Oversee cash management processes, ensuring liquidity and financial stability
  • Manage payment processes, including handling invoices, employee advances, and other related tasks
  • Generate various internal financial reports as required by the organization, working closely with the global finance team to ensure alignment and accuracy
  • Prepare and submit reports for external use, including coordinating with related departments to gather necessary information
  • Handle the receipt and dispatch of all incoming and outgoing mail
  • Oversee the management of PCs, monitors, and other office equipment
  • Manage access to the office by controlling IDs at the office entrance
  • Assist in managing employee welfare programs and initiatives
