Summary

Join Figma's Corporate Accounting team and play a vital role in delivering timely and accurate financial reports, maintaining accounting policies, and ensuring compliance. You will design and maintain scalable procedures and internal controls, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and other regulations. This full-time role can be based in a US hub or remotely within the United States. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly analytical, and able to work independently to meet deadlines. Requirements

  • BS Degree in Finance/Accounting
  • 3+ years of accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP
  • Experience with Netsuite or equivalent ERP
  • Experience building cross-functional relationships and communicating with stakeholders across all levels and functions

Responsibilities

  • Perform month-end close activities including account reconciliations for cash, prepaids, fixed assets, AP, travel & expense, intangibles, goodwill, and consolidations
  • Help identify, drive, and implement process improvements while documenting new and existing processes
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly flux analysis and reporting packages
  • Respond to audit requests for related areas
  • Support system implementations, development of new processes, and creation of new recons, etc
  • Assist in SOX implementation/execution
  • Partner with other internal and external contacts at all levels
  • Other ad hoc projects as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience working in a high-growth SaaS company
  • 2+ years of experience working in public accounting
  • Demonstrated experience researching and understanding complex accounting issues
  • Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • Experience with Zip, Expensify, Navan and/or similar accounting software
  • A CPA (or are currently a CPA candidate)
