Accounting Assistant in Greece

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Assistant with at least 3-4 years of proven working experience. The candidate will be responsible for reconciling invoices, creating expense reports, processing reimbursement forms, preparing bank deposits, entering financial transactions into internal databases, maintaining financial records, issuing invoices, reviewing and filing payroll documents, and participating in quarterly and annual audits. The candidate should have a BSc/Ba in Accounting, Finance or a relevant field, good math skills, familiarity with finance regulations, hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software like QuickBooks, organization skills, and the ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.

Requirements

• BSc/Ba in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
• Proven working experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk for at least 3-4 years
• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
• Familiarity with finance regulations
• Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
• Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
• Organization skills
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
