Summary

The job involves daily accounting tasks such as processing customer sales orders and invoices, reconciling supplier statements, maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and local regulations. The candidate should have at least 3 years of previous local experience in a similar role, be an accounting and finance graduate, fluent in English, and able to work under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Processing of Customer Sales Orders / Invoices
• Scrutinising sales quotes issued and converting these into sales invoices
• Ensuring the prices quoted are in line with the company’s pricing list
• Confirming any discounts allowed have been pre-approved
• Process of supplier invoices
• Reconcile supplier statements and manage any discrepancies
• Assisting the Head of Finance to oversee various financial operations, such as the: Review of timesheet reports provided, Proper Cost allocation to jobs, Review of costs recharges
• Maintaining accurate financial records
• Assisting with the preparation of financial reports up to trial balance stage
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and local regulations
• Overseeing and handling MYData reporting
• Carrying out monthly bank reconciliations
• Supporting in the day to day accounting duties
