Accounting & Finance Associate

Summary

The job involves supporting financial and accounting operations for a real estate holding company, handling invoices, cashflow, budgeting, and reviewing financial statements. The candidate should have a BSc degree in Accounting & Finance or related field, preferably with 1-2 years of experience in accounting roles, knowledge of accounting programs, good time management skills, and proficiency in Greek and English.

• BSc degree in Accounting & Finance or related field
• Average of 1-2 years working experience in accounting roles
• Good knowledge of accounting programs
• Excellent knowledge of MS-Office environment
• Very good time management skills
• Hands-on attitude and desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
• Being a team player with strong communication skills
• Proficiency in Greek and English language (verbal and written)

Responsibilities

• Monitoring tenancy agreements, preparing and issuing relevant invoices to tenants
• Monitoring on-time and in-full payment of customers
• End-to-end handling of vendors’ invoices, in cooperation with our accounting partners
• Ensure on-time payment of our vendors
• Updating the Group’s cashflow records; supporting the budgeting process of Group entities and participating in monthly and yearly management reports
• Reviewing accounting entries and financial statements of Group entities performed and ensuring timely and conformant completion of year-end financial statements prepared by external accountants
• Participating and following up the progress of strategic projects
• Any other ad hoc tasks that might come up on the daily business

Preferred Qualifications

• M.Sc. degree will be considered an asset
• Experience in managing invoicing & cashflows as well as exposure to general ledger entries will be preferred
• Prior experience in Epsilon net accounting program will be considered a plus
