Accounts Payable Clerk

Summary

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred
• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role of 5 years minimum
• Viewpoint/Vista Construction Software management is a MUST
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel

Responsibilities

• Review and verify invoices and purchase orders for accuracy and completeness
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date and resolve any discrepancies
• Process vendor payments and maintain accurate records of all transactions
• Prepare and maintain various financial reports, including aging reports and expense summaries
• Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve any payment issues or inquiries
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and financial report preparations
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as relevant accounting regulations and standards
