Accounts Payable Officer

Join our client, a leading Australian brand in infant developmental toys, as an experienced Accounts Payable Officer. Support their finance department by processing and reviewing invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Reconcile supplier statements, prepare payment runs, and assist with month-end closing and reporting. Maintain financial records, liaise with vendors, and handle payment queries. Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role
• Strong knowledge of invoice processing, reconciliations, and payment workflows
• Experience with accounting software (NetSuite, Xero, or similar)
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently
• Effective communication skills to liaise with vendors and internal teams

Responsibilities

• Process and review invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
• Reconciled supplier statements and resolved discrepancies
• Prepare and process payment runs, ensuring timely supplier payments
• Assist with month-end closing and reporting tasks
• Maintain financial records and update the accounting system (e.g., NetSuite, Xero, or similar)
• Liaise with internal teams and external vendors to handle payment queries
• Support general finance-related administrative tasks as required
