Remote Accounts Receivable Specialist

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Prior experience with health care billing required (1-2 Years)
• Prior bookkeeping/accounting experience required (1-2 Years)

Responsibilities

• Maintains current account status of receivables by handling patient invoicing, cash/check application, and solicitation of payment on overdue accounts
• Responsible for the day-to-day management of assigned accounts, reviewing Accounts Receivable Billing Checklist, alerting management of problems/issues as well as weekly/monthly reports on aging status
• Assuming the responsibility of receiving and sorting incoming payments with attention to credibility
• Managing the status of accounts and balances and identify inconsistencies
• Issuing and posting bills, receipts and invoices
• Updating accounts receivable database with new accounts or missed payments
