Summary
The Acquisition Marketing Analyst at Boatsetter will analyze data from various sources to derive insights for enhancing marketing programs, monitor KPIs, collaborate with the marketing team, and contribute to strategic decisions. The role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in acquisition marketing analytics, proficiency in SQL, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication skills.
Requirements
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in acquisition marketing analytics with a strong background in Google, Meta and other paid channels, preferably in a fast-paced tech startup or growth-stage company
- Analytical Expertise: Proficiency in SQL. Some knowledge of Python/R, or similar tools for data extraction and analysis is a bonus
- Business Mindset: Demonstrated experience in contributing to marketing measurement and strategy by providing data-driven insights and recommendations
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to convert data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations. Familiarity with A/B, incrementality and other testing methodologies
- Data Visualization: Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Quicksight, Power BI, or similar, as well as Excel/Google sheets to create clear and compelling visualizations
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present findings and context to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Collaboration: Strong team player with a collaborative mindset, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and foster a data-driven culture
Responsibilities
- Data Analysis and Insights: Utilize data from various sources to derive actionable insights for enhancing our marketing programs
- KPI Monitoring and Reporting: Work in close partnership with the marketing team to establish, maintain and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Sizing, Experimentation and Testing: Work with the marketing team to evaluate the performance of our marketing efforts
- Attribution: Manage the marketing attribution models used for internal data sets
- Marketing data technology: Understand and collaborate on the technology being used at Boatsetter to manage our marketing spend, engage with our customers on an on-going basis, and other related marketing functions
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Partner with marketing (as well as Product, Engineering, Design and other stakeholders) to understand business objectives and align marketing analytics initiatives accordingly
Preferred Qualifications
Passion for Boating: While not a strict requirement, a genuine interest in boating or the maritime industry is a plus
