Actuarial IT Applications Intern

Join our 9-week Internship Development Program and gain valuable experience in the insurance industry. As a Technology Intern, you will work with our Actuarial Applications team to develop solutions that meet business and technical requirements.

Requirements

• Rising college senior pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or related
• Familiarity with cloud concepts (AWS, Azure)
• Excellent communication skills, with an ability to bridge the gap between business and IT
• Understanding of solution design principles and business process modeling

Responsibilities

• Work with data and application engineers to gather technical requirements and assist in designing data solutions that address actuarial business needs
• Build data flows into and out of Actuarial modeling platforms
• Ingest and analyze new/existing data sets and implement end-to-end data processing in the cloud
• Prepare documentation of business and technical requirements and ensure clear communication between teams
• Participate in business capability and process mapping sessions, ensuring alignment between business strategy and IT capabilities
• Help develop dashboards and reports to analyze key business metrics and provide insights
