Summary
Join Boomi as an Advisor, Knowledge Management to build and maintain a global pre-sales knowledge base. You will ensure field teams have access to accurate and up-to-date information, enabling scale and consistency. This high-impact role supports strategic deal execution and sales efficiency across various teams worldwide. You will develop and maintain a knowledge management system, coordinate with other teams to translate technical details into actionable knowledge, and curate a centralized knowledge repository. You will also leverage tools to enhance knowledge accessibility and monitor knowledge utilization metrics. This role requires strong analytical skills and experience in knowledge management platforms.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Knowledge Management, Support, Technical Writing within an IT or enterprise software environment
- Strong professional IT background with a deep understanding of SaaS, integration, data, or enterprise software ecosystems
- Proven ability to analyze complex technical updates and translate them into clear, actionable knowledge for diverse audiences
- 2β3 years of experience using knowledge management platforms (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint, Loopio or similar tools)
- Highly organized with strong analytical skills and experience building scalable knowledge governance processes
- Curious and comfortable navigating ambiguity, creating structure, and driving clarity across distributed teams
- Familiarity with collaboration tools like Jira Service Desk, Slack integrations, or similar platforms
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Engineering, Sales) to capture and disseminate technical knowledge
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a dynamic knowledge management system to track new product features, updates, and their impact on existing knowledge assets
- Analyze how new features and updates affect current documentation, identifying gaps and determining necessary updates to ensure accuracy and relevance
- Coordinate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to understand feature releases and translate technical details into clear, actionable knowledge for field teams
- Define and implement processes for updating knowledge assets, including identifying responsible stakeholders and ensuring timely execution
- Curate and maintain a centralized knowledge repository (e.g., FAQs, technical documentation, case studies, and best practices) to support global field teams
- Leverage third-party tools and potentially AI to enhance knowledge discovery, organization, and accessibility for distributed teams
- Ensure knowledge content aligns with the latest product positioning, value drivers, and brand standards
- Monitor and report on knowledge utilization metrics, including content access, update frequency, and impact on sales and presales outcomes
- Provide guidance to extended team members on knowledge creation, curation, and dissemination best practices
- Stay current on industry trends in knowledge management and recommend innovative approaches to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in Sales, Customer Success, or Partner enablement is a plus
- Shipley Proposal Management Certification, APMP Foundation Certification, or Knowledge Management Certification (e.g., CKM) a plus
Benefits
- Base compensation for this position in our corporate headquarters in Conshohocken, PA ranges from $110.000 - $135,000
- This position is remote-friendly and, as such, final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidateβs knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location
