Aftermarket Sales Manager

Summary

Join CPM Century Extrusion as an Aftermarket Sales Manager with a 'hunter' mentality to manage long-term partnerships, identify new opportunities, and contribute to the profitability of the company. The role requires 30-50% travel and can be based either at home or in the office.

Requirements

• Hunter Mentality: Proven ability to identify and close new business opportunities
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of industry theories and practices, particularly in chemistry and engineering
• Sales Expertise: Must have a minimum of 3 years of Industrial Sales Experience, with a preference for candidates with experience in the aftermarket segment (Extrusion)
• Education: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical)
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to think critically and solve problems effectively
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and prioritize effectively
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, TEAMS, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty
• Assertively pursue new customers and opportunities for CPM’s extrusion replacement spare parts and CX Extrusion services
• Implement effective customer contact processes to meet sales objectives
• Deliver excellent customer service to maximize sales and profitability
• Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts to support company growth and investment strategies
• Actively participate in company sales meetings to enhance communication, understanding, and teamwork
• Prepare and submit weekly sales reports, expense reports, budgets, projections, and action agendas to meet company expectations

Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual skills in Spanish, Mandarin, or German are a plus
