Guide our organization in adopting and optimizing Agile methodologies, ensuring Agile practices perform as expected and driving continuous improvement through feedback and metrics. Provide guidance and oversight of Agile ceremonies, optimize team processes, and enhance productivity and efficiency. Assess team and organizational performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to increase Agile maturity and success. Support various product and engineering roles for internal and outsourced teams. This role involves coaching and mentoring teams and individuals, developing best practices for Product Management, leveraging metrics for process improvement, and facilitating Agile practices. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master and a deep understanding of Agile principles and frameworks.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master in a software development or organizational environment
- Deep understanding of Agile principles, frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe), and best practices
- Demonstrated ability to coach Product Managers, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners
- Strong facilitation, mentoring, and conflict-resolution skills
- Proficiency in using Agile metrics and tools to enhance team performance
Responsibilities
- Coaching and Mentoring: Provide guidance and support to teams and individuals to enhance their Agile skills and competencies. Act as a mentor to team members, helping them understand and apply scaled Agile frameworks, and empowering them to deliver high-quality results
- Product Management Development: Coach and develop best practices for Product Management, with a focus on defining work (Initiatives, Epics, and Stories) and refining backlogs
- Continuous Improvement: Leverage metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement and better team outcomes. Facilitate progress checkpoint surveys to evaluate Agile maturity and uncover further coaching and training needs
- Facilitating Agile Practices: Oversee Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions. Ensure effective implementation of Agile practices and support teams in embracing Agile values and principles
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, SAFe Program Consultant) are a plus
