Summary

Join Visa's Visa Direct Product team as a high-agency Agile Delivery Analyst to remove impediments for the scrum team, ensuring the quick and sustainable delivery of value. Your work will focus on quality requirements, agile and lean practices, and delivery management. Responsibilities include ensuring requirements are detailed enough for sprints, facilitating workshops, collaborating on user stories, unblocking scrum teams, reporting on delivery metrics, maintaining a delivery roadmap, holding the team accountable, and driving execution across multiple teams. The role requires proven experience in Agile Delivery Management, in-depth knowledge of Agile principles, and strong communication skills. This is a remote position.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an Agile Delivery Manager, Scrum Master or Project Management role, preferably in a software-first Fintech or start-up
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles, with real experience in creating working environments that adhere to them
  • Proven track record of chasing down impediments to deliver value for customers and business
  • Ability to communicate equally effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • A self-starter who takes accountability for getting things done
  • Top-notch stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence colleagues in small, cross-functional scrum teams
  • Comfortable challenging the status quo and always curious about the way things work
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional structure and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring requirements are at just the right level of detail to take into sprint, including functional & non-functional requirements
  • Plan and facilitate workshops for the team and stakeholders to emphasis a collaborative approach to requirements definition
  • Collaborating in the writing of epics and user stories
  • Doing what is needed to unblock the scrum teams during the sprint
  • Reporting and managing operational delivery metrics
  • Create and maintain a delivery roadmap that outlines the prioritised features and milestones to achieve team and business objectives
  • Holding the team accountable for their delivery commitments and coaching continuous improvement
  • Drive the execution of deliverables across multiple teams and functions, proactively identifying and mitigating risks and issues, dependencies, and impacts
  • Leading/coordinating standard agile ceremonies for business-critical initiatives and complex assignments related to size or technical build
  • Suggesting improvements to agile ways of working
  • Coaching scrum teams on agile best practices

Preferred Qualifications

Preferably domain knowledge in Fintech - e.g. payments, FX, transaction banking or trading
