AI Product Manager

Summary

Join Skillsoft's Platform product management team as a Summer Intern and collaborate with senior product managers and engineers on AI research and prototyping for highly visible products. The internship runs from August to September 2025. You will assist in designing and implementing AI/ML models, document research findings, participate in team meetings, support data tasks, and test prototypes. The ideal candidate possesses 0-2 years of experience and is pursuing or recently completed an MBA or BS/MS in a related field. A basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and enterprise learning is required. This fixed-duration internship may lead to full-time employment.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of professional experience and currently pursuing or recently completed an MBA or BS or MS in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field
• Basic understanding of AI and machine learning concepts
• Domain knowledge of enterprise learning
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior product managers and engineers to support AI and machine learning research and prototyping
• Assist in designing and implementing basic AI/ML models and experiments under supervision
• Document research findings and contribute to the development of prototypes
• Participate in team meetings to provide updates on progress and gather feedback
• Support the team with data collection, preprocessing, and analysis tasks
• Assist in testing and evaluating AI/ML prototypes for performance and usability

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data analysis or prototyping tools is a plus
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence or other Agile software development tools is desired
• Experience working with virtual teams is desired
