Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in recruitment (agency or in-house), preferably with exposure to tech or AI roles
• Familiarity with AI roles, tools, and skills such as machine learning, data science, Python, TensorFlow, and NLP frameworks (even if non-technical)
• Proficiency in sourcing candidates using platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and talent networks like GitHub and Kaggle
• Ability to build rapport with candidates and clients and clearly articulate opportunities
• Self-motivated and goal-driven with a results-oriented approach
• Passionate about connecting talent with meaningful roles
• Thrives in a remote, flexible work environment

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified AI candidates, including AI engineers, data scientists, machine learning specialists, NLP experts, and more
• Utilize sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, and AI talent platforms to find top-tier candidates
• Conduct pre-screening interviews to assess technical expertise, cultural fit, and candidate motivations using Codility, HackerRank, or TestGorilla
• Develop strong relationships with clients to understand their AI talent needs and hiring priorities
• Collaborate with the Substance international team to match candidates with the right opportunities
• Stay updated on AI trends and roles to better understand client and candidate needs
• Ensure a seamless candidate experience from initial contact to offer negotiation
