Join Headout's dynamic media team as a Photo Intern and contribute to shaping how travelers experience the world through imagery. This fully remote, paid internship in India offers hands-on experience with AI-driven photo sourcing, Photoshop scripting, and media template creation. You'll collaborate with senior team members and cross-functional partners to establish a scalable media framework. The internship is a minimum of 6 months, with potential extension to 12 months or more based on performance. This role provides opportunities for visual storytelling, global collaboration, workflow automation, AI-driven innovation, and potential transition to a full-time position.

Requirements

• Some projects or work experience in photography, photo editing, media management, or visual arts
• A keen interest in telling stories through images, with any past projects or portfolio to back it up
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Photoshop or similar editing tools
• Strong verbal and written communication; able to clearly explain visual decisions to non-creatives
• Capable of maintaining structure, following guidelines, and keeping digital assets well-organized
• A willingness to spot and fix small issues, ensuring images meet both visual and factual standards
• Able to juggle multiple tasks, stay open to feedback, and maintain a positive attitude
• Naturally extroverted, you are enthusiastic about working with others, asking questions, and engaging with colleagues in a remote environment

• Help shape the way travelers experience the world through imagery
• Gain hands-on experience with AI-driven automation projects focused on photo sourcing
• Learn and refine Photoshop scripts for various editing scenarios
• Help create standardized media templates
• Help establish a scalable framework to provide media as a service to our stakeholders
• Refine workflows to ensure high-quality visuals for our users

Preferred Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Media Studies, Visual Arts, Design, Communication, or a related field
• Proficiency with AI image tools such as MidJourney and Stable Diffusion
• Experience in creating and using scripts and automation within Photoshop
