AI SEO Performance Manager

This role involves planning and executing AI SEO campaigns, optimizing websites for AI compatibility, conducting AI-enhanced diagnostics, and monitoring visibility across various search modalities. You will act as a strategic client partner, delivering results-focused reports and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Leadership responsibilities include mentoring junior team members and creating educational resources on AI SEO. Requirements

• 4+ years of SEO experience in an agency setting
• Proven success in leading AI-enhanced SEO campaigns that drive measurable ROI through advanced technical, content, and strategic execution
• Growth hacking mindset: experience in testing unconventional strategies, leveraging automation, and improving ROI through rapid iteration
• Excellent command of English (C1/C2 level) – you will communicate directly with clients, lead calls, present strategies, and manage relationships without intermediaries
• Proven experience in leveraging AI-driven solutions to enhance SEO performance and executing data-driven strategies to maximize organic traffic from AI-powered search experiences
• Ability to create simple scripts to automate data analysis and processing
• Strong ability to translate business goals into end-to-end SEO strategy, with full campaign ownership and measurable KPIs
• Ability to independently carry out comprehensive SEO analyses of sites analysing on-site and off-site elements in depth
• Proven ability to develop and implement AI-assisted content strategies at scale, tailored to business needs and search intent
• Experience working on a range of SEO verticals (Local SEO, Voice Search, eCommerce SEO etc.)
• Ability to create project management plans and keep client projects on track
• Up-to-date with the latest trends, algorithm updates and best practices in SEO
• A natural communicator and educator – able to confidently present strategies to clients and mentor junior team members
• Proficient in tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Sitebulb, Screaming Frog, and analytics platforms like GA4, GSC, Looker Studio
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to diagnose and solve large-scale SEO issues using data, automation, and AI
• Confident in handling multiple clients/projects independently, without needing micromanagement
• Ability to meet strict deadlines while driving results through cross-functional teams
• Experience in creating and conducting SEO related training

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute scalable AI SEO campaigns - using automation and AI to achieve tangible visibility across AI and search platforms
• Optimize websites for crawlability, indexing, structured data, speed, UX, and AI compatibility
• Perform advanced strategic audits and implement them
• Conduct AI-enhanced diagnostics and prompt-based visibility testing (e.g., ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity)
• Expand the scope beyond traditional SEO: optimize for AI search results and more
• Monitor and influence visibility across multi-modal surfaces: text, voice, image, and video-based search
• Design experiments using growth-hacking frameworks and rapid A/B testing across organic and organic-algorithmic channels
• Continuously test and deploy AI and no-code tools to automate SEO diagnostics, content workflows, and performance tracking
• Use tools like Make, Zapier, GPTs, and Looker Studio to scale reporting and decision-making
• Act as the main strategic partner and point of contact for your clients - from onboarding to strategy reviews
• Deliver results-focused reports and proactively communicate wins, opportunities, and challenges
• Tailor strategies based on client objectives (lead gen, sales, traffic, brand visibility across platforms)
• Work with content, link building, paid, and client teams to optimize ROI holistically
• Help shape the agency’s Search Everywhere framework and AI SEO offering
• Standardize processes, templates, and playbooks to scale efforts across client campaigns
• Lead the adoption of AI SEO and Search Everywhere practices across the agency
• Mentor and coach junior team members, delivering training and guidance
• Create educational resources on prompt engineering, algorithm shifts, and multi-platform search trends

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on SEO campaigns targeting multiple locations/languages
• Proficiency in no-code tools (e.g., Zapier, Make, Airtable) for SEO automation
• Expertise in a particular technical solution such as CMS, framework, back-end, etc., and the ability to leverage it for SEO purposes
