Summary

Join World Business Lenders (WBL) as a Contract/Consultant in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, and Loan Servicing. This role involves supporting the development of comprehensive reporting suites, financial models, and algorithms for credit risk analysis. You will assist in constructing pricing models, maintaining loan records, preparing financial reports, and monitoring mortgage and title policy. The position requires generating various reports, conducting underwriting reviews, and supporting due diligence requests. This is a work-from-home position offering PTO and a salary range of USD 1000-1500.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration or a related field
  • 3-5 years progressive experience in financial analysis/modeling in the financial lending or mortgage industry
  • Solid knowledge of the principles of general business, accounting, quantitative analysis and finance
  • High degree of proficiency in Excel, including complex financial analysis/modeling, VBA/macros, relational databases and SQL
  • Excellent English fluency, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, and Loan Servicing functions within the company
  • Support the development and implementation of comprehensive reporting suites across the organization
  • Contribute to the development of financial models and algorithms to analyze loan level and overall portfolio credit risk, identifying patterns, correlations, and sensitivities among portfolio variables
  • Assist in constructing pricing models for loan amortization schedules
  • Maintain the integrity of the loan records with the loan administration system
  • Prepare, analyze, and interpret monthly financial results
  • Monitor and support the management of mortgage and title policy for loan portfolios
  • Assist in identifying, analyzing, and documenting client portfolio risk and risk mitigating factors
  • Prepare loan monitoring reports on a regular schedule to review overall asset quality, including performance against original underwriting expectations
  • Generate monthly and quarterly financial reports, tracking actuals vs. budget/forecast for key metrics
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and various long-term financial and statistical projections for strategic planning
  • Generate aging reports, showing the delinquency status and payment performance
  • Conduct periodic reviews and analyses of underwriting expectations post-funding: categorize exception distribution, rationale, and justifications; issue monthly executive-level exception reports to validate compliance with the underwriting policy and procedure
  • Support financial and functional due diligence requests for corporate transactions
  • Assist with other projects and duties as assigned by the Business Analytics Manager
