Summary
Join Carrum Health as a Business Intelligence Analytics Associate and help transform healthcare by unlocking commercial analytics and reporting capabilities. You will conduct in-depth data analysis, develop and maintain analytical models and dashboards using Tableau, create GSheet models for financial analysis, write SQL queries in Athena and Snowflake, and collaborate with stakeholders. This role requires 5-8+ years of experience in business intelligence or a related field, master-level expertise in GSheets, advanced proficiency in SQL, and experience with healthcare claims data. The salary range is $105,000-$125,000, plus equity and an annual bonus. Requirements
- 5-8+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related field
- Master-level expertise in GSheets, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and VBA
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Amazon Athena, Snowflake, and Azure
- Experience working with and navigating the complexities of healthcare claims data
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage interconnected numerical datasets
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, or related field
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and areas for improvement
- Develop and maintain complex analytical models and dashboards using Tableau to visualize key business metrics and trends
- Create sophisticated GSheet models to support financial analysis and business planning
- Write and optimize SQL queries in Athena and Snowflake to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets
- Work closely with claims data to deliver accurate insights grounded in actual utilization
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through rigorous validation processes
- Document technical processes and maintain data dictionaries
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a consulting or investment banking environment
- Strong experience with Tableau, including dashboard development and data visualization best practices
