Summary

Requirements

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in a related field with some statistical background or experience analyzing data and coming up with solutions
  • Demonstrate passion for harnessing data-driven solutions to improve social outcomes
  • Show eagerness to learn fundamental techniques in data management, analysis, and visualization
  • Exhibit ability to recognize patterns and carefully check assumptions
  • Possess excellent attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Perform technical analysis
  • Create reports and calculators that power solutions
  • Develop client-facing materials summarizing findings

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have experience or interest in learning a programming language (Python, Java, Ruby, SQL, etc.)
  • Possess familiarity with statistical programs (SAS, SPSS, R, etc.)
  • Be proficient in spreadsheet and presentation software (Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, Keynote)
  • Have experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools (GIS, Tableau, Periscope etc.)
