Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Computing, Math, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or another quantitative field
- Strong skills in data manipulation using SQL code (any dialect)
- 2+ years of experience using dbt (data build tool)
- Proven investigative analysis, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated stakeholder management skills
- Proactive and curious mindset, with a commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement
- Interest in understanding business logic and identifying data-driven insights
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with management, technical teams, and business stakeholders
- A valid work permit to be employed in Spain
- Fluent in written and spoken English
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Finance Managers, Analysts, Data Engineering, and other stakeholders to align on business needs and outcomes
- Collect and document technical requirements and desired business outcomes
- Design solutions to deliver analytical datasets
- Own and lead the development of solutions, primarily using dbt, Redshift SQL, and Looker
- Collaborate with stakeholders to validate and optimize ELT pipelines
- Maintain and extend existing data transformation processes
- Work within the Analytics Engineering Team to support stakeholders, align with business objectives, and continuously improve working practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Python scripting and Airflow for workflow orchestration
- Familiarity with AWS Redshift and dbt Cloud
- Exposure to Finance Data and analytical use cases
