Summary
Join Team Veriff as an Analytics Engineer and work closely with stakeholders to understand processes they want to measure, creating scalable models for them. You'll be the expert in optimizing query performance in the data warehouse and authority on data modeling best practices.
Requirements
- Experience with SQL, columnar databases, and data warehouses (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake, Synapse, or BigQuery)
- Strong Python skills
- Experience with data transformation and orchestration frameworks (e.g., dbt, Airflow, Luigi, Prefect)
- A deep understanding of dimensional data modeling
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with business stakeholders and analysts to design, document, and implement precise data models
- Optimizing complex queries to fully utilize the performance capabilities of our data warehouse
- Ensuring data and report integrity by implementing quality checks and establishing data model standards
- Enabling data analysts and data scientists to extract maximum value from our data
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with data from various sources (RDMS, APIs, files) in different formats (JSON, Avro, Parquet)
- Experience with big data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Apache Beam, Apache Flink, or similar
