Senior Data Analytics Engineer

Summary

Join our Mobile and New Games Data Team at Wargaming's Global BI Team! We handle all data aspects for mobile and new game titles, from integration and pipelines to dashboards. You'll dive into player datasets, collaborate with product teams, build dashboards, design data models, and share insights. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, experience with large datasets, and proficiency in Python and SQL. Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in analytics, ideally in gaming
• Proficiency in Python
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets
• Experience with cloud platforms, ideally AWS or GCP
• Excellent communication skills to present complex data in a clear, actionable way
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Passion for gaming and curiosity about what makes games successful
• Ability to work in a centralized data team supporting multiple products, rather than focusing on a single game
• Flexibility to adapt to varied tasks and thrive in a dynamic, agile environment

Responsibilities

• Dive into massive player datasets to uncover insights and solve real business challenges
• Team up with product teams to track event performance, optimize game operations, and improve player experience
• Build and maintain dashboards using tools like Tableau or Periscope to visualize key metrics and trends
• Design data models that support and streamlines the work of Game Analysts
• Share your passion for data by giving demos, hosting talks, and mentoring teammates and others in the company
• Juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced results-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with tools like Snowflake, BigQuery Airflow, and dbt
• Experience in mobile marketing analytics or a basic understanding of the field
