Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in analytical/statistics focused position from an internet environment
- Experience in business analytics, quantitative reasoning and metrics reporting with the capacity to support claims with correlating data points
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, Alteryx) and real time dashboard development
- Can understand data, combining large volumes of data and complex questions into clear analyses and applicable findings using quantitative reasoning
- Demonstrate experience with relational data sets ( SQL) data warehouses, data mining and data analysis techniques
- Analytical thinker with the capacity to provide insight into online behaviors, activities and identify opportunities to increase the online experience
- Bachelorβs degree in quantitative discipline, e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or related field
- Web Analytics tools (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics Premium) β familiar with
- Microsoft excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and PowerPoint
Responsibilities
- Extract the appropriate data from the data warehouse, summarize the data finding insights into online behaviors and identify opportunities to maximize engagement with the product
- Maintain Tableau dashboards that adapt to changing our needs
- Work with BI and Engineering on data validations to prioritize and resolve data issues
- Achieve dashboards, identify trends or issues within data sets, and make recommendations to influence decisions and investments
- Collaborate with teams to develop and implement a high-quality infrastructure of quantitative data to track and collect important data to answer complex business questions and improve product performance
- Present analytical results and insights to business partners to answer strategic questions and influence decisions
