Analytics Engineer, Intern, Product-Led Growth in Singapore

Summary

Workato is a powerful low-code/no-code integration and automation platform that empowers users to automate workflows across apps and databases. The company is looking for an Analytics Engineer Intern to join their Product-Led Growth team, who will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, optimizing data for product launches, understanding user behavior, and exploring emerging technologies like GenAI. The ideal candidate should have proficiency in SQL, database knowledge, and understanding of Python, be a fast mover, resourceful, and results-oriented, and have strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

• Proficiency in SQL, database knowledge, and understanding of Python. Knowledge of using DBT is a plus
• Fast mover and comfortable navigating a fast-paced environment
• Resourceful in execution and results-oriented
• Interns who will be able to commit on a full-time basis for at least 6 months will be preferred
• Strong analytical skills and a passion for data-driven decision-making
• Thoughtful team player, a quick learner, and have a ‘can do’ attitude with a growth mindset

Responsibilities

• As an Analytics Engineer Intern for the Product-Led Growth team, you will play a key role in driving the success of our products by developing data models, writing code, monitoring data, and communicating results
• You will be primarily responsible for gathering, analyzing, and optimizing data for product launches, understanding user behavior, and providing recommendations for enhancing consumer engagement
• Design, develop, and maintain data models using dbt (Data Build Tool) for data transformation and analysis, providing accurate and consistent data for end users and stakeholders
• Collaborate with Data Analysts and Business Stakeholders to understand their reporting and analysis needs and translate them into DBT models
• Ensure data quality and consistency by implementing robust testing, validation, and cleaning processes on source tables to improve data reliability
• Partner with data analysts, stakeholders, and other teams to align data insights with product improvements
• Communicate complex data patterns and conclusions effectively to internal and external stakeholders, coworkers, and end-users
• Actively research the applicability of new tools, and technologies, like GenAI, for enhancing data engineering and analysis
