Analytics Engineering Lead

Join Wolt's brand-new Analytics Engineering team in Helsinki, Stockholm, or Berlin as an Analytics Engineering Lead! This role involves leading a team of senior analytics engineers, initially focusing on establishing a scalable reporting framework and providing reliable business metric tracking. You'll split your time between hands-on data work and team leadership, guiding the design and implementation of data automation. Success hinges on establishing strong cross-functional partnerships and influencing senior leadership. Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in data-related roles - data engineering, business intelligence, or analytics engineering
• 1+ years of leadership experience
• Expertise with SQL and ETL tools (Airflow, dbt, or similar)
• Experience building intuitive data visualizations and dashboards that influence business decisions, utilizing tools like Tableau, Mixpanel, Looker, or similar
• Ability to influence senior leadership to make critical decisions
• Clear and concise communication with strong cross-functional partnership experience
• Ability to work and communicate effectively in English

Responsibilities

• Establish a solid and scalable reporting framework with Product and Data stakeholders
• Provide Operations stakeholders with reliable tracking of the business metrics (that you help to design)
• Guide the design and implementation of automation needed for enabling the stakeholders as well as Analytics team members
• Be the representative of your function towards the rest of the organization
• Be a cultural leader that cares for the wellbeing and constant improvement of your team members
