Summary

Fetch is a top-ranked shopping platform seeking an Android Mobile Engineer Apprentice to contribute to real features and work on a small, multi-functional team. The apprenticeship lasts for 3 months with a competitive hourly wage, no expectation of full-time employment, and no health benefits.

Requirements

• Understanding of functional or object-oriented programming
• Ability to learn quickly
• Desire to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
• Effective communication, including the ability to translate and explain technical issues to non-technical team members
• Graduating from College within a month, and able to work full-time hours!
• Experience with Object oriented or functional programming languages (we use Kotlin)
• Mobile Development (Android)
• Modern App Architecture (MVVM/MVC)
• Version control system (Git)

Responsibilities

Contribute immediately and work on real features that impact customers and partners

Preferred Qualifications

• Full-stack development (Kotlin, Javascript, React, Swift)
• Both Android and iOS experience
• Personal app release
• Test writing and quality assurance
