API Optimization Manager

Summary

We are seeking a skilled API Optimization Manager with 2-5 years experience in the travel industry to join our commercial team. The role involves optimizing API usage, cross-functional collaboration, technical troubleshooting, business development, and partner training. Ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and ability to foster relationships. Fluent English and Mandarin is required, other languages are a plus. Flexible schedules and remote work are offered.

Requirements

• Relevant experience: Ideally, 2-5 years experience in the travel industry, review and monitoring of the technical performance of the API connections
• Personal skills: Proactive, ambitious, motivated, action-oriented, results-focused, appetite for innovative technology, comfortable with fast-changing business environment, teamplayer, used to data-driven decision-making
• International mindset: Ability to understand and work across a wide range of cultural contexts reflecting ETG’s global presence
• Language knowledge: Fluent in English, Mandarin. other languages as a plus

Responsibilities

• API Optimization: Leverage a data-driven approach to analyze and monitor API performance
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with commercial, technical, and product teams
• Technical Troubleshooting: Provide technical support to partners regarding API usage
• Business Development: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand API partner base
• Partner Training: Conduct API workshops and training sessions
