Appian Developer

Summary

Join our team as a fully remote, full-time Appian Developer! With 2-7 years of experience, you will design, develop, and maintain Appian-based solutions. You'll collaborate with stakeholders, integrate with external systems, and troubleshoot application issues. A background in Appian application development, process automation, and problem-solving is essential. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and eligibility for a Public Trust Clearance are required. The salary range is $58,000 - $70,000 annually.

Requirements

• Experience: 2-7 years of hands-on experience in Appian development
• Proficiency in Appian platform, including SAIL, Process Models, and Data Management
• Experience with Appian integration (Web APIs, SOAP/REST)
• Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL)
• Understanding of software development methodologies and Agile practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and deploy Appian applications and solutions
• Design Appian workflows, process models, and interfaces to streamline business operations
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and understand requirements
• Implement integrations with external systems using Appian integration capabilities
• Maintain and enhance existing Appian applications to ensure optimal performance and usability
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues promptly
• Document technical designs, configurations, and processes to ensure clear communication and continuity
• Ensure all work adheres to security and compliance standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Appian Certification (e.g., Appian Certified Associate Developer or Appian Certified Lead Developer)
• Experience working on government or public sector projects
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
