Application Analyst/ Lead

Summary

Aveva is seeking a Lead IT Application Analyst to work remotely, preferably in the EST or CST time zone. The candidate must have strong expertise in Aveva PI System and related tools, including PI Data Archive, PI Asset Framework, PI Asset Analytics, PI Event Frames, PI Vision, and PI Notifications. They should also have experience with Windows system administration and security. The position requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field and at least 10 years of application support/analysis experience. Additional qualifications include 5+ years of experience with Aveva PI System servers, interfaces, user tools, tag creation, tag monitoring, tag maintenance, performance optimization, and security.

Requirements

• Remote work – possible occasional travel to Charlotte for meetings
• Must reside in EST or CST time zone
• MUST BE STRONG IN AVEVA (Used to be OSI PI)
• Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related discipline
• 10+ years experience within application support/analysis
• 5+ years of experience with the installation, configuration, and monitoring of Aveva PI System servers, interfaces, and user tools
• 5+ years of experience as a system administrator of Aveva PI System
• 5+ years of experience with Aveva PI System tag creation, tag monitoring, and tag maintenance
• 5+ years of experience with performance optimization and monitoring system health for the Aveva PI System
• 3+ years of experience with PI Data Archive, PI Asset Framework, PI Asset Analytics, PI Event Frames, PI Vision, and PI Notifications
• Experience with the monitoring and maintenance of Aveva PI System security and the deployment of patches
• Windows system administration experience (2018, 2016, and 2012)
• Demonstrated ability to work with external vendors of software packages and coordinate deliverables between internal and external teams
• Able to pass NERC background checks
• Able to provide periodic 24x7 on-call support
