Remote Application Support Specialist

Summary

Join RELEX as a full-time Application Support Specialist (m/f/*) for the Space & Assortment department to support global customers and ensure efficient issue resolution.

Requirements

• Fluent written and verbal English and German skills
• Minimum 2 years of Application or Internal IT Support experience
• Experience of ticket administration via service desks – JIRA is preferred, ServiceNow, Fresh Desk, Sales Force considered
• Experience in SQL Query Writing for reporting, data manipulation and investigation
• Understanding of Advanced Windows Server Operating System – Domain Controllers, Active Directory, DNS, Server Manager etc
• ITIL best practices for customer support and a basic understanding of networking principals
• Experienced in software troubleshooting and have problem-solving attitude

Responsibilities

• Support our customers via tickets in our service desk
• Take ownership of assigned tickets to achieve progression towards resolution
• Work on automated alerts and monitor alerts for hosted customer environments
• Solve problems and technical tickets which vary in priority and skill
• Document known issues and add them to our vast knowledge base for future upcoming issues

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Experience – Mainly interacting with S3, EC2 instances
• Azure Experience – understanding hosted virtual machines and the basics of an Azure-hosted systems
• Citrix Experience – Comfortable with Citrix Workspace and its underlying architecture
• Powershell – ability to create simple scripts to query data, modify files etc
• Power BI – any experience using Power BI
