Appointment Setter

Summary

The job is for an enthusiastic individual with prior sales and telemarketing experience to join a dynamic team. The role involves making calls, conducting research, engaging decision makers, managing projects, documenting information, identifying key decision makers, and maintaining CRM proficiency. The functional requirements include experience in inside or field sales (IT or enterprise software sales preferred), B2B telemarketing, proven success in Account Management/Development, a consultative selling style, and a minimum degree requirement of BA/BS.

Requirements

• Experience with inside or field sales (IT or enterprise software sales preferred)
• Experience with B2B telemarketing
• Proven success with Account Management/Development
• Ability to promote company’s value proposition demonstrated with sales goals that meet or exceed company goals
• Proven success with consultative, conversational style of solution selling
• Minimum degree requirement: BA/BS (Equivalent work experience will be considered)
• CRM proficiency (salesforce.com preferred)

Responsibilities

• Set qualified appointments for inside or field sales, making 50-60 calls per day
• Conduct primary research through interviews with appropriate decision makers
• Engage decision makers on the phone to discuss their business pains
• Conduct peer-to-peer conversations with senior executives, multiple individuals in each target company to gain a cross-functional view of the enterprise and its purchasing behavior
• Document information and complete accurate, clear, concise reports for our clients
• Identify key decision makers within targeted accounts
