Summary
Uptalent.io is seeking a Remote Architect (Construction Administration Specialist) with 8-10 years of experience in construction administration, preferably an architect but engineers with the right experience will be considered. The role involves overseeing and managing the construction administration phase of architectural projects, reviewing RFIβs & Submittals, developing details, revising plans, updating the Revit model, preparing ASIβs, and construction changes to the plans and specs, among other tasks. The position requires strong understanding of the construction process, building codes, and regulations, proficiency in project management software and tools, experience coordinating with contractors, consultants, and clients during the construction phase, excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and remotely, fluency in English, and flexibility to work across different time zones. Requirements
- Architectural background
- 8-10 years experience with construction administration
- Experience working with VA projects
- Revit, Autocad and Bluebeam Proficiency
- Strong understanding of the construction process, building codes, and regulations
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Experience coordinating with contractors, consultants, and clients during the construction phase
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make timely and informed decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely, while ensuring project deadlines and deliverables are met
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
- Flexibility to work across different time zones as required
Responsibilities
- Review RFIβs & Submittals
- Pull information from revit models and review construction documents (Plans and specs)
- Develop details, revise plans, update the Revit model, prepare ASIβs, and construction changes to the plans and specs
- Update RFI, Submittal, and construction change logs
- Communicate with the Project Manager and coordinate action items with the project team when required
Preferred Qualifications
- Architect, but Engineers with the right experience will be considered
- Previous experience in the United States Market
