Requirements
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
- Ability to effectively interact with a variety of health care professionals including the ability to articulate a clinical sales message
- Proven track record of sales success including recognition awards and/or increased responsibility
- Demonstrated initiative, creativity, and resourcefulness
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain solid working relationships with internal and external customers geographically located within the assigned territory
- Intermediate to advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal and virtual engagement skills is critical to success
- Self-motivated with excellent organization, time management and presentation skills. Strong attention to detail and follow-through will make you more successful
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Current valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Resides in and be able to travel within the territory that you're assigned
- Travel 30-50% which may occasionally include weekends/holidays as needed
- Physical requirements include sitting, walking, standing for prolonged amount of time, possible exposure to radiation and ability to lift to 25 lbs
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve or exceed sales targets
- Identify and engage potential customers, including interventional radiologists, vascular surgeons, and other healthcare professionals
- Conduct regular visits to hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities to increase product visibility
- Drive product adoption through persuasive communication and product demonstrations
- Develop an understanding of the market unique to assigned territory
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers
- Provide outstanding customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of LAVA and its clinical applications
- Educate healthcare professionals on product usage, techniques, and benefits through training sessions, workshops, and in-services
- Stay updated on competitive products and industry trends to effectively position the companyโs solutions
- Manage and prioritize customer accounts and sales activities within the assigned territory
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, medical affairs, clinical affairs) to ensure seamless customer experiences
- Adhere to all regulatory and company policies regarding sales practices and product promotion
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and forecasts in Salesforce
- Provide timely sales reports and market feedback to management
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 yearsโ experience in medical procedure coverage i.e. Interventional Radiology (IR), Operating Room (OR), Cath Lab, Office-based or related preferred
- Previous work experience in medical device, B2B, or hospital setting preferred
