Summary

Join a leading trading platform as a Lead IT Asset Engineer to architect, implement, and lead the technical evolution of its Jira Assets-based asset management system. This hands-on role requires driving innovation, automation, data quality, and integrations across the asset lifecycle. You will act as a technical lead and strategic partner to multiple teams, creating a transparent and automated source of truth for all infrastructure and software assets. Requirements

  • Experience with IT Service Management and IT Assets, including schema design, automation, and integrations
  • Experience integrating ITAM with external systems (e.g., AWS, configuration databases, inventory systems)
  • Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP) and hybrid infrastructure
  • Hands-on with Python, Go, Bash, Terraform, or Ansible
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
  • Familiarity with FinOps, cost allocation tagging, and cloud asset usage
  • Business level proficiency in English or above (equivalent to B2 or above in CEFR)

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for the Jira-based IT Asset Management platform
  • Design and maintain scalable and maintainable object schemas, relationships, and lifecycle workflows in Jira Assets
  • Develop custom automations, scripts (Python), and integrations to connect Jira with internal systems (e.g., CMDB, procurement, monitoring tools, cloud providers)
  • Collaborate with security and compliance teams to enforce audit controls, role-based access, and system change tracking
  • Ensure data accuracy, synchronization, and completeness across various data sources (e.g., SCCM, AWS/GCP, device inventories)
  • Drive end-to-end asset lifecycle automation—from procurement and onboarding to decommissioning and cost optimization
  • Partner with Engineering, Infrastructure, SRE, and DevOps to embed asset metadata into deployment and monitoring pipelines
  • Lead technical troubleshooting and performance tuning of IT Asset management as they scale
