Requirements

  • A degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience in renewable asset management, preferably with BESS
  • Familiarity with energy regulations, grid compliance, and safety standards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze large datasets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement
  • Experience in managing projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and timeline management

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage an international portfolio of BESS assets, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and profitability
  • Monitor and analyze the technical and commercial performance of each BESS unit, identifying areas for improvement or maintenance
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with the operation and maintenance of BESS units
  • Schedule and oversee regular maintenance activities, adhere to warranty and insurance requirements to ensure system reliability and longevity
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including O&M provider, optimizer, and regulatory bodies
  • Supervise service providers to ensure they are fulfilling their roles effectively and maintaining agreed-upon availability
