Summary

Join Marshalls Water Management as an Assistant Civil Engineer and contribute to the design and development of innovative water management products. Support the Senior Civil Lead Engineer in providing design and technical support, focusing on structural product lines and the Redi-Rock retaining wall system. Produce drawings and calculations while ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role offers the flexibility of remote, hybrid, or office-based work, depending on location. The position requires expert knowledge in technical engineering, experience in civil/structural design, and proficiency in AutoCAD and structural engineering software. Requirements

  • Expert knowledge within the technical engineering environment
  • Experience working within a civil / structural design and technical environment
  • Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or Construction related qualification (degree qualified is preferred)
  • Working knowledge of Eurocode 2 design, EN 1992 Part 1-1
  • Problem solving skills
  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and Structural Engineering Software (SCIA software experience would be ideal)
  • Ability to communicate and build relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Be able to demonstrate flexibility to adapt and respond to change
  • Proven ability to motivate yourself to meet project deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Provide design and technical support for the Marshalls Water Management product ranges, primarily focussing on our structural product line offering bespoke water management products and our Redi-Rock retaining wall system
  • Help to produce drawings, calculations and provide engineering support to a high standard ensuring compliance with Marshalls and wider industry processes and standards
