Requirements

  • Insurance industry experience
  • Background in startup environments
  • Proven experience at a senior accounting level
  • Qualified Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
  • Demonstrated management experience in leading high-performing teams to achieve outstanding results
  • Expertise in streamlining and automating finance operations for enhanced efficiency and productivity
  • Innovative thinker with a knack for recommending unique solutions to tackle complex financial challenges
  • Ideally possesses a background in audit or compliance within a public accounting firm

Responsibilities

  • Managing all accounting operations and preparation of financial statements of our United States entities in accordance with GAAP
  • Leading all aspects of accounting and financial reporting and the monthly close process with full responsibility for timeliness and accuracy
  • Leading the preparation of accurate and high-quality financial reports in compliance with US GAAP, bank/regulatory reporting, and management reporting and analysis
  • Having direct responsibility for accounting of complex accounting and disclosure areas, such as consolidation, revenue recognition, reserves, accruals, and other disclosures
  • Assisting with the Inshur Holdings Group external audit
  • Researching and analyzing technical accounting issues as needed
  • Supervising a team within the Finance group
  • Experience integrating acquired companies into existing accounting practices
  • Designing, implementing and maintaining effective internal controls. Identifying and remediating internal control weaknesses
