Reporting to the Controller, you will be responsible for month-end close activities, financial audits, compliance, and process improvements. Requirements

  • 3-6 years of experience in accounting, preferably within a SaaS, tech, or subscription-based business
  • Knowledge of SaaS financial metrics, GAAP, and ASC 606
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Multi entity and consolidation, foreign currency, and transfer pricing experience
  • Passionate about building scalable and repeatable processes and systems
  • Excellent data skills, including Microsoft Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
  • Ability to thrive in a fully remote work environment with excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong leadership: you have managed successful teams

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing the global month-end and year-end closing process, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition), and other applicable accounting standards
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities
  • Maintain and improve financial controls and accounting policies
  • Support the preparation of financial statements, investor reports, and board presentations
  • Assist with revenue recognition, deferred revenue, and subscription-based accounting
  • Work closely with the billing and accounting teams to ensure accurate invoicing and revenue tracking
  • Support financial planning and analysis (FP&A) by providing accurate financial data and insights
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate accounting processes
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve financial workflows and reporting accuracy
  • Assist with preparation and coordination of audit documentation for external auditors
  • Assist with the implementation of internal controls and risk management processes
  • Other duties as assigned
