Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Level 3 Certification in Vibration Analysis; ARP Certification preferred
• 8+ years in vibration analysis and reliability in the steel, paper, or cement industries
• Proficiency in RCA, FMEA, and vibration analysis techniques. Familiarity with SAP, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project). Basic knowledge of instrumentation relevant to rotating equipment
• Extensive experience with complex gearboxes, rolling mills, and paper applications

Responsibilities

• Perform remote vibration analysis on complex rotating machinery
• Troubleshoot issues in steel, paper mills, and cement applications using process conditions, vibration signatures, and oil analysis
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to determine equipment failures and provide comprehensive reports
• Implement solutions to enhance mechanical reliability, minimize costs, improve safety, and address environmental concerns
• Lead and participate in incident investigations to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent reoccurrences
• Provide training on dashboard features to customers and conduct monthly visits for technical discussions and service reviews
• Prepare and deliver monthly reports and key account updates
