Summary
Join Garner's growing team as an Accounting Manager, reporting to the Controller. You will play a key role in supporting the accounting team's day-to-day operations, focusing on accounts receivable, billing, and invoicing. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks Online, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant experience and a passion for improving the U.S. healthcare system. Garner offers a competitive salary ($130,000-$160,000) and benefits package, including equity incentives.
Requirements
- 3-5 years experience in general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations
- Knowledge of journal entries and basic financial concepts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exposure to billing & revenue recognition practices
- Proficiency in Excel, and experience with Quickbooks Online
- Excellent organization and time management
- Bachelorโs degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day general ledgering activities
- Primarily support day-to-day accounts receivable & Billing operations
- Ownership of our AR Mailbox & field internal and external requests and deliverables
- Solution designing for a complex and high volume billing environment
- Full ownership of our customer invoicing process
- Clear communication of status updates & comfortable with sharing challenges/unknowns

- Proficiency with Google Sheets, and advanced formulas
