Summary

Requirements

  • 1 plus years’ experience in a software sales, sales development or business development position
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a positive attitude
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and a proactive approach to problem-solving

Responsibilities

  • Assist a regional sales team in lead generation, client outreach, and follow-ups
  • Help with identifying potential customers through market research
  • Contact prospects in a sales region through calls, emails, and other communication channels to introduce products and services
  • Present offerings and engage in meaningful conversations to understand customer needs
  • Assist in closing deals for open territories on a temporary basis
  • Develop a deep understanding of the company’s products or services to effectively communicate their benefits to clients and answer any questions
  • Qualify incoming leads, schedule meetings or product demos for senior sales representatives, and ensure all leads are properly tracked in the CRM system
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, including calls, emails, and meetings, using CRM software
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering timely support, addressing concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Work closely with the Account Executives and Area Sales Managers to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategy discussions
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences
  • Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work-related tasks in a manner that complies with all Company policies and procedures including Worldwide Business Standards
  • Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a dental or healthcare organization
  • BS or BA in business administration, sales, marketing, or related field(s)
  • Knowledge of Salesforce
