Summary

Join a dynamic team at Avalere Health as an Associate, where you will contribute to the development and delivery of projects to clients, conduct research, and analyze health policy documents. As a self-starter with strong writing skills, you will work independently and in cross-functional teams to create client deliverables and support business development thought leadership content development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in public policy, public health, public administration, business, statistics, economics, mathematics, or a relevant discipline with 1-2 years of relevant full-time work experience
  • Prior experience with project task-management
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including PowerPoint and Excel
  • Self-starter, ability to work independently
  • Solid writing skills as a foundation for professional business communication
  • Sound analytic, problem solving, and quantitative skills
  • Good working knowledge of healthcare and related issues

Responsibilities

  • Working independently and in cross-functional teams to contribute to the development and delivery of projects to clients
  • Conducting qualitative and quantitative research on a diverse array of healthcare and business issues (i.e., key stakeholder interviews, white and grey literature searches, etc.)
  • Conduct analyses in Microsoft Excel to inform business recommendations
  • Create client deliverable presentations in PowerPoint, following pyramid structure storytelling, to provide strategic recommendations
  • Analyzing health policy documents (i.e., Medicare and Medicaid statutory provisions, Medicare payment regulations, etc.) to determine direct business implications to clients
  • Using content expertise, solid proofreading, and layout skills to quality control client deliverables
  • Support business development thought leadership content development, and internal initiatives
